quick poetry interp.?

we probably would have been better, for that was what i was aiming at. i don't do poetry much, i more of a short story person. i didn't have much time on that particular one, anyways. i normally spend weeks on a few sentences. but if the i = we thing isn't obvious, i like that. i write to make people think, not to just have them be like oh yeah whatever.
whether i failed miserably or did ok, i still write whether it sucks or not. critism is why i rarely show people my stuff. i tend to get defensive and think that people are judging my opinion more than my writing.
